OUR STORY...
The Associazione Culturale Musicale RAPSODY has been operating in Emilia Romagna since 1997 as a School of Music with the aim of spreading the love for this art among children and young people, continuing its path as a Musical Association with the organization of concert seasons, concerts event, musical interpretation competitions and concert lessons in schools. Through these activities it has always promoted cultural projects and initiatives throughout the region, spreading music as a channel of aggregation and social integration: values of which it has always been a great carrier.

We started in 2015 with the Instrumental Master Specialization for Flute and Violin, in the second year we added Clarinet and Cello, reaching the number of 42 students from all over Italy, while in the summer of 2017 we arrived at 74 enrolled UP TO THE FOURTH EDITION WITH 102 GOODS: students of Conservatory, Music High School or already graduated, aged between 12 and 40 years. We also wanted to further increase the educational and musical offer, creating and incorporating in a single container called "MUSIC A CORNIGLIO" other courses and workshops, creating an integrated project in which various subjects interact and involving the entire territory of the municipality of Corniglio, covering a period ranging from June to September.

In addition to the experiences of daily musical improvement will be included recreational appointments for participants in the three different musical paths, such as guided tours related to the Regional Park of the Hundred Lakes and National Park of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines and agreements with accommodation facilities such as restaurants, bars and swimming pools.
In recent years, the Associazione Culturale Musicale RAPSODY has focused on teaching its organizational activities and cultural promotion.
For the fifth consecutive year it is organizing a cultural and didactic project in Corniglio (PR) aimed at making the beautiful Apennines of Parma known, with the aim of spreading the musical culture in the area and giving young people the opportunity to deepen their studies with professionals of the highest instrumental level, living in a healthy environment and surrounded by nature of rare beauty.

The Master's classes cover the entire territory that is part of the system of protected areas and regional parks. To this end, essays, performances and concerts by students are also planned in other municipalities.
The teachers, all renowned musicians and established concert performers, will follow their students in the many occasions of public performances, such as the appointments that will see the participants of the RAPSODY Master protagonists in concerts designed in the churches and parks of the magnificent Apennine territory that hosts us and in which we will have the opportunity to listen to soloists or small chamber ensembles from July, up to the final concert in Corniglio.
